Sidebar panel

This article describes how to manage bookmarks and tabs through the sidebar panel.



The Tuna plugin expects you to categorize all web pages into pinned and spaces based on usage frequency and scenarios. All your bookmarks and tabs in the plugin will be stored locally, so even if you close the browser, you can continue from where you left off, without losing them.

Pinned Area

Pinned: It is recommended to place frequently used tools here, such as social platforms, online music websites, email, etc.


Spaces

Create isolated spaces based on different scenarios, such as living space, working space, entertainment space, and learning space.


  1. Permanent Bookmark Bar

The permanent bookmark bar is recommended for commonly used web pages and supports the following features:

  • The permanent bookmark supports multi-layer nesting and grouping by folders.

  • Clicking on a permanent bookmark will open it directly, rather than creating a new temporary tab.

  • If a permanent bookmark is already open, it must be closed first before it can be deleted.

Right-click menu:

  • Right-click menu - Copy Link

  • Right-click menu - Copy Markdown Link

  • Right-click menu - Rename

  • Right-click menu - Replace with Current Link

  • Right-click menu - Copy

  • Right-click menu - Move

  • Right-click menu - Delete


  1. Temporary Tab Area

Temporary tabs are pages opened temporarily and support the following features:

  • Temporary tabs do not support folder grouping.

  • The title and URL of temporary tabs update in real-time with the content.

Right-click menu:

  • Right-click menu - Copy Link

  • Right-click menu - Copy Markdown Link

  • Right-click menu - Copy

  • Right-click menu - Move

  • Right-click menu - Delete


Conversion

  • Bookmarks, permanent bookmarks, and temporary tabs can be converted into each other by dragging.

  • You can move bookmarks through the right-click menu - Move.
